BACALAR CHICO SNORKELING ADVENTURE

Explore the entire northern region of Ambergris Caye during a complete loop of the island. Enjoy three different pristine snorkel stops chosen especially for you! Experience the peace and tranquility of the uninhabited north… no crowds on this tour! Pass through the Mayan Channel that separates Belize from Mexico which was once the trading center for the Mayans. A nature walk over the Mayan mounds could discover old pottery from a time long ago. Don’t forget you will be enjoying a feast of Willie’s famous barbecue lunch, complete with Mayan Chicken, roasted potatoes, pasta salad, chunky vegetables with balsamic vinaigrette and Grandma’s secret recipe rum brownies for dessert.

CAYE CAULKER DAY SAIL

Escape to our neighboring island Caye Caulker! Enjoy a full day of sailing where we will stop along the way to the famous site of Hol Chan and enjoy the beauty of our Marine Reserve. Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley are approximately 4 miles south of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. It is praised for its abundant sea life, and it’s beautiful coral formation, and therefore, its great snorkeling. Hol Chan means ‘Little Channel’ in Mayan and is a natural break on the barrier reef where ocean depth ranges from 5-30 feet. Here you will enjoy seeing marine life and huge coral garden, among which are flourishing stag horn corals and sea fans.
Once you arrive in the village of Caye Caulker, have lunch at our favorite local restaurant. Afterwards you will have time to meander through the sandy streets where you can site see and shop for souvenirs. Then sail back to San Pedro with a snorkel stop at Shark Ray Alley where you will have an up close and personal look at the nurse sharks and southern stingrays.

HOL CHAN & SHARK RAY ALLEY SNORKELING

MANATEE WATCH, SNORKELING & BEACH BBQ

Make your way through the cayes as you head to the secluded Swallow Caye outside of Belize City, which is a natural habitat for the West Indian Manatee. Here you shall have the opportunity to take pictures and view the elusive and shy Manatee. From there, visit the small but quaint island of Goff’s Caye where you will have an opportunity to snorkel right off the beach and enjoy a tantalizing barbeque. Continue your adventure with a walk around the neighboring island of Caye Caulker and then finish off at another snorkel site called ‘The Aquarium’ where you will have the opportunity to snorkel with the sharks and stingrays!

MEXICO ROCKS SNORKELING

Explore the abundant marine life in shallow crystal clear waters. This site is well known for excellent sightings of grouper, lobster, barracuda, sand sharks, and tiny blue tropical fish.

BLUE HOLE SNORKEL

You can also enjoy spectacular snorkeling at the Blue Hole!
The Blue Hole, located in the center of Lighthouse Reef Atoll is a 1000 foot circular coral reef that drops over 400 feet into an incredible cavern. It is filled with stalactites and awe inspiring natural formations. An abundance of marine life such as queen angel, grouper, trigger fish and spotted moray can be seen at the top of the wall.
Half Moon Caye and the Aquarium/Eagle Ray are teaming with marine life and numerous varieties of colorful corals like sponges, fans and gorgonians.
On this trip you will also enjoy a leisurely picnic on the palm fringed beach of Half Moon Caye, followed by a visit to the Boobie Bird Sanctuary.
*Please note that snorkeling at the Blue Hole only available depending on the weather conditions.
