As diving, Belize is a unique place for snorkelling, the Belize reef is only ½ mile (800 meters) from the PORTOFINO beach, and you can see it from all the cabana's, suites and especially the restaurant. The area between the beach and the reef is shallow (max. 10 feet / 3 meters), and swarms with tropical sea life and as such an ideal place for snorkeling.
