SNORKELING
As diving, Belize is a unique place for snorkelling, the Belize reef is
only ½ mile (800 meters) from the PORTOFINO beach, and you can see it from
all the cabana's, suites and especially the restaurant. The area between
the beach and the reef is shallow (max. 10 feet / 3 meters), and swarms
with tropical sea life and as such an ideal place for snorkeling. Manatee Watching and Snorkeling
Make your way through the cayes as you head to the secluded Swallow Caye outside of Belize City, which is a natural habitat for the West Indian Manatee. Here you shall have the opportunity to take pictures and view the elusive and shy Manatee. From there, visit the small but quaint island of Goff’s Caye where you will have an opportunity to snorkel right off the beach and enjoy a tantalizing barbeque. Continue your adventure with a walk around the neighboring island of Caye Caulker and then finish off at another snorkel site called ‘The Aquarium’ where you will have to opportunity to snorkel with the sharks and stingrays!
Hol Chan & Shark/Ray Alley
Spend a half-day exploring the walled channel of Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Here you will swim among corals, caves, and fish that abound in this pristine underwater location. On your second stop, experience the thrill of snorkelling with docile nurse sharks and southern stingrays at Ambergris Caye’s very own version of Cayman Island’s Stingray City.
Mexico Rocks Snorkel
Mexico Rocks, the second most popular snorkel spot on Ambergris Caye. If you don’t fancy the exercise involved in kayaking out there, or you are new to snorkeling and would like the assistance and expertise of a snorkel guide, then this is the trip for you.

Caye Caulker Sailing
Begin your day by sailing to Hol Chan Marine reserve where our guides will show around this spectacular snorkel area.. Then head on the Shark and Ray Alley where you encounter sharks and Rays in their natural habitat.
Once back on board the boat you can rinse off with the fresh water shower and settle in for the sail to Caye Caulker. When you reach Caye Caulker you will have time to have lunch and explore our quaint sister island.
In the afternoon enjoy a leisurely sail back to San Pedro.

Coral Gardens Day Sail
This is a great day on the water. Sail to Coral Gardens for a delightful snorkel stop. Our guides will navigate you through this favorite snorkel area. Then it is time to head on to the “Ship Wreck” for greater snorkeling. After you have worked up a healthy appetite snorkeling, board the boat, rinse off in the fresh water shower and settle in for a tasty picnic lunch while sailing the afternoon away.

Bacalar Chico
Take a tour around the island and snorkel the abundant marine life in the mayan reef of San Juan. Following with a ride to the Ancient Mayan Dugout Canal dated 1500 years ago, where one has the privilege to touch the land of Mexico and Belize. One the ride, one can enjoy the beautiful flora, fauna and marine life. A short walk takes you to visit the world heritage site of Rocky Point (place where the reef meets land). Continue with snorkeling some spectacular sites at the Marine Reserve.
