Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley

Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley are praised for abundant sea life and beautiful coral formations. Hol Chan means “Little Channel” in Mayan, a natural break in the barrier reef with a huge coral garden, flourishing stag horn corals and sea fans. Shark Ray Alley is a shallow water snorkel where you swim with harmless nurse sharks and southern stingrays.

Bacalar Chico

Explore the entire northern region of Ambergris Caye on a complete loop of the island, with three pristine snorkel stops chosen especially for you. Enjoy the peace of the uninhabited north, pass through the Mayan Channel that separates Belize from Mexico, and take a nature walk over the Mayan mounds, where you could discover old pottery. Lunch is Willie’s famous barbecue, with Mayan Chicken, roasted potatoes, pasta salad, chunky vegetables and Grandma’s secret recipe rum brownies for dessert.

Blue Hole & Half Moon Caye

The Blue Hole, in the center of Lighthouse Reef Atoll, is a 1,000-foot circular coral reef that drops over 400 feet into an incredible cavern. At the top of the wall you can see queen angelfish, grouper, triggerfish and spotted moray. Half Moon Caye and the Aquarium are teeming with sponges, fans and gorgonians. Enjoy a leisurely picnic on the palm-fringed beach of Half Moon Caye, followed by a visit to the Boobie Bird Sanctuary. Snorkeling at the Blue Hole is only available depending on the weather conditions.

Fishing & Snorkeling

Begin your day trolling the reef system around Ambergris Caye for snapper, grouper, barracuda and jackfish. After the fun of catching your lunch, continue north to a stretch of beach where your guide prepares a barbecue. After a hearty meal, head to the famous Mexico Rocks, where spectacular sea life and mounds of coral abound.
